The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G is still one of the finest phones you can buy, even nine months after release. But it was always an expensive option, and even spreading the cost over the course of a two-year contract could prove prohibitively expensive. Regardless, this is still a great way of splitting the cost given data and calls don’t come free. For my money, that middle contract is the sweet spot. Yes, you’ll pay £22 more over the course of two years, but the initial outlay is £50 lower, and having double the data isn’t to be sneezed at. You probably know why the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G is such a great handset already, but here’s a quick refresher. It combines a fantastic screen, stylish build and incredible camera with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor for top-notch performance. As our Mobile Technology editor Nathan Spendelow wrote in his review: “It may be the cheapest of Samsung’s newborn trio, but it offers much the same experience as the S20 Ultra with a £500 saving.” Now it’s even cheaper on contract, it’s a great time to experience (almost) the best that Android has to offer.
